Johnsonville Heritage Festival, part 2 – Reenactments

Local citizens enjoy dressing up in Revolutionary era clothing and experiencing a taste of what it was like in this area when General Francis Marion served in the area. Dale Smith has an extensive collection of artifacts from that era, and his family enjoy these opportunities to share it with the public.

Dale’s son-in-law, Tony Youmans is dressed as one of Marion’s Militia. On display is a collection of Revolutionary Era rifles and wepons. The second picture shows several horns for carrying gunpowder.
